Show Notes

This is Part 2 of our series on fear — and if Part 1 helped you understand why you’re afraid, this episode is about what to do about it.

Fear is sneaky. It shows up at 2 AM as worst-case scenarios. It disguises itself as “being responsible.” It makes you believe that worrying is the same as caring. And it steals your peace every single day.

In this episode, I give you practical, faith-rooted tools for managing fear in real time.

We talk about:
* Specific techniques for processing fear when it hits
* How to interrupt the spiral before it takes over
* The role of prayer, Scripture, and the sacraments in fighting fear
* Moving from paralyzed to peaceful, one thought at a time

TRANSCRIPT OF THE SHOW

Sterling: This is part two of a two-part series on the emotion of fear and managing fear in our bodies, and I just thought that this was so timely to talk about, given. All the things that have happened in the last month. I’ve been coaching a lot of moms on being scared for their kids, being scared for the future, and it’s just important to remember that God does not give us a spirit of fear.

So this episode and last week’s episode are done by Larissa Horn, my good friend, who I used to do the podcast with, and we release these originally, oh I don’t know, a few years ago, but I just thought they were really timely and I hope that this is exactly what your heart needs today. I hope you enjoy it.
